I’ve had the pleasure of working with Mercedes in very busy pediatric office. Mercedes’ expertise in newborns, infant care, breastfeeding and her extensive background as a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) nurse served our patient population well and she quickly became the go to provider for new parents. Mercedes is knowledgeable, compassionate and most of all parents love the time that she spends educating them in a way that is clear, concise and easy to understand.
Being a breastfeeding mother of a child with allergies/sensitivities can be so isolating and overwhelming. Being apart of Mercedes’ breastfeeding support group makes us moms realize we aren’t alone. Having the opportunity to share tips with other moms and gaining some knowledge from the more experienced moms makes being apart of this group beneficial in all aspects.
Preparing to be a first time mom is wonderful but can be stressful at the same! Taking Mercedes’ Breastfeeding and Babies Class in our home was actually pretty fun and so informative! I loved that she was able to offer my husband and I a private, hands-on class where we got to role play and get all of our questions answered before our baby girl arrives!
I love the breastfeeding support group because it offers free support and education. Breastfeeding is already hard enough, so adding on a change of diet in response to my son’s dairy allergy has been a journey. However, thanks to information from Mercedes’ group, my baby and I are much healthier!
